I have a western digital 500 gig external hard drive.
Yesterday, I come home to see the LED on it flashing faster than I have ever seen it.
It was also making a faint clicking sound, instead of the typical whirring sound it normally makes.
It also smelled a little burnt, like a piece of electronics that has been working hard for a long time.
I hooked it up to 2 computers and the 360 multiple times, and no device read it.
I tried the freezer trick, just took it out and hooked it up, and its doing the same thing.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I have tons of my music files on there
