"Rave" or not, Jason is a pretty cool dude so cut him a bit of a break. NC Strength is a bullshit event to throw because so many people are
unappreciative and difficult to deal with. For serious.
I still love it though and I plan to take the reins next year.

as an "out of towner" I must say I feel honored to actually play this year. I had heard about this event for years and finally made the trip to check
it out last year. The music was awesome, but the thing that stands out to me -the thing that made my whole trip worth it was the people. You have your share of
local scene drama I'm sure, but as an "outsider" I found the people at Strength to be friendly and welcoming. I never felt like an
"outsider" during my trip. I hope to bring an event like this to DC at some point -maybe it will help my local scene put all the drama on
"pause" for a day or two and we can hang and remember why we all love this shit.You have an awesome annual event. No matter who puts it together,
don't take it for granted. Can't wait to see you all down there. Looking forward to football too haha.
Btw -get me some promo cd's etc and I'll get them to promoters in my area. I have helped in getting Titan Zero, Gyromite, and Archangel get booked in the DC area -who says having out of towners doesn't help? Wish Archangel and Clip&Carbine were coming this year tho... |
