^ and by that I don't mean to sound uninterested. I just *really* bring nothing to the table so to speak. Not tech savvy wise etc which is why we are where
we are.

I've already got the domain setup, joomla cms systems, phpbb3, gallery among other things in the backend. Just finishing some template and integration
work. I'm also gonna setup a faq systems and artist profiles but it's probably gonna take me a hot minute cause of the custom programming involved in
setting up artist portfolios. Probably gonna end up customizing something. Might be quicker. Not bad for less than a week. lol.

It's actually gonna be really nice, a step beyond ncdnb. With community driven content. You'll be able to upload events pictures and music for all to
see and listen. I went ahead and paid for the host for 3 months just to check them out. They had a good package with unlimited transfer and storage. So
we'll see how it goes. Nothing is worse than getting stuck with a bad host. lol. They've been really good so far. It helps that I have about 12 years
exp. and used to work for a hosting company being a net admin and web designer, and well, coder, for that matter designing ecommerce websites, so I know
exactly what to tell them.

ok what exactly does ecdnb have to do with north carolina drum and bass? im failing to see the connection. is your site going to focus on the eastern part of
the state eg: eastern carolina dnb? if so, i think some other cats got that one covered. http://www.encdnb.com/

if its not possible to get ncdnb.com back, is it possible to get ncdnb.net? everyone knows ncdnb... regardless of what comes after the (dot).
Who's your favorite? Oh wait- that's me!

To be honest I probably would have spoken to some peeps on here about it before I built my timeline and actually started work but I really don't know most
of you that well and a lot of you probably have bad opinions of me from ncdnb.com
Probably well deserved as I was in a very difficult time in my life and probably a nuisance to some but the people that have really known me for any length of time know better. That is all. -D |

Thanks, I think? lol.
It's all good, I can design and code well and plan on initially doing research listing events and going to events and placing reviews gallerys on the website. Anyone can post events or gallerys very easily directly on the site tho if given acces although I plan on users having their own galleries and spot to upload mixes etc. I think down the road if a user base can be established it would be easy to get promoters to enter their own events, it's pretty easy. I mean really easy, takes like 1 minute to enter an event and you can even enter recurring events under one flyer by date range, so every monday between a date range will show up with that event. Plus there is a hyperlinked calander on the home page which you can click hilighted dates. Everything pretty much runs seamless. -D |

Also there is an event search engine and the ability to sort events or pull events by venue.
